Travel a little out of downtown to the Lakefront neighborhood to visit the warm and cozy environment at Russell's Marina Grill. Many people agree that Russell's Marina Grill serves one of the best traditional breakfasts in all of New Orleans. If you're looking for a traditional breakfast, Russell's Marina Grill is for you.
Russell's Marina Grill opened in the spring of 1985 by Russell Cuoco. His vision was to open a restaurant that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods throughout all open hours. Immediately after opening, his restaurant saw great success. The people of New Orleans loved Russell's Marina Grill back then and they love its reliable, flavorful dishes to this day. In 1989, the restaurant was sold to its current owner, Pavlos Petrou.

The Ruby Slipper Cafe opened in 2008 in Mid-City New Orleans directly following Hurricane Katrina. Its founders Eric and Jennifer wanted to provide a gathering place for people to enjoy good food and community in the midst of the disaster. It was an immediate success! People love The Ruby Slipper Cafe for its open, inviting atmosphere and its awesome signature southern breakfast. Bywater Bakery was opened by Alton Osborne and Chaya Conrad in 2017. They were newly married and wanted to make New Orleans feel like home. Alton and Chaya have created a delicious bakery that rings true to their original intent. Home really is where the food is. The bakery is located on the corner of Dauphine and Independence. Toast is a New Orleans restaurant that was opened in 2014 by Cara and Evan Benson. They met at the French Culinary Institute and live in New Orleans with their two sons.
